All the time, all the kids, they run to tell me “hello!” When I get out they give me a high-five. They make my day.

It’s hard to run a waste collection business. They’re focused on picking up the trash on a daily basis. We come in and we service their customers by delivering containers, removing them when they need to be removed, and replacing them when they need to be replaced. A broken cart at a customer’s home and they need a new lid or wheel. We run out to that house to take care of the lid or sometimes a cart gets broken and they need a swap. We go out to take care of that for them. I think where we really move the value needle for a customer is in asset retrieval percentage. It’s the warranty management, as well as the scrap handling of the asset and overall inventory control. Our software provides visibility for not only us to see where our trucks are on the road at any given time, but our customers have complete visibility into what we’re doing as well. We’re helping our customers control their capital expenditure by managing the inventory that they have in their yard and also the fleet that they have out in the field. They can know where they have and what they have. And the average amount of time that they’re going to need a new container. If we can reduce the variables that are part of their costs and profit loss statements, then we can help them achieve more efficiency and profitability. There’s literally no limit to the amount of customized reporting we can provide the customers. They can see cart moves in certain areas, they can see deliveries, removal, and swaps, broken down by cities. They can see trends in certain areas. The visibility that we bring to a container management operation to our customers is really mind blowing. The customers are happy, something must be going well. But as always, we try to keep a good balance of work or volume, as we call it. This is a work order, inventory management, and asset management program from start to finish. Your customers are counting on you for their lives to run more smoothly. You can count on us to do the same.
